Drill Instructors from all walks of life in many types of training environments have and will continue to be responsible for the training, teaching, mentoring, structure, discipline, and overall performance of individuals under their leadership. Those that have earned the title of Drill Instructor undertaken one of the most intense, demanding, and important responsibilities they will experience both personally and professionally.
The Drill Instructors that will train Basic Training contestants have years of experience. They have the passion to take young men and women from all walks of life and transform them into smartly disciplined, physically fit and basically trained contestants. Your Drill Instructors demand the following:
- Give 100% of yourself at all times.
- Obey all orders, instantly, willingly, and without question.
- Treat all Drill Instructors and recruits with courtesy and respect.
- You will not physically abuse or verbally threaten another Drill Instructor or recruit.
- Be completely honest in everything you do. Recruits never lie, cheat, or compromise.
- Respect the rights and property of others.
- You will work hard to strengthen your body.
- Be proud of yourself and the uniform you are wearing.
- Try your best to learn everything taught by the Drill Instructors and others in your platoon.
- Most importantly, NEVER QUIT AND NEVER GIVE UP!
